The_King Posted April 1, 2020 Share Posted April 1, 2020 (SCREENSHOT: Palm View Primary School/Google Maps) More SINGAPORE — A Primary 2 student from Palm View Primary School has tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the school to extend home-based learning (HBL) for all students to Thursday (2 April). The student contracted the virus from a family member and has not travelled during the March school holidays, the school’s principal Ming Kum said in a letter to parents on Wednesday. “The student was well when last in school on Monday. The student continues to remain in high spirits while receiving treatment,” the principal added. Students and staff who have been in close contact with the student have been placed on 14-day leave of absence beginning Wednesday. During the extension of HBL, the school will thoroughly clean and disinfect its premises. It will resume on Friday.
