@Yamato

Where do u recommend having a reasonably good steak but not cost me a cow cow?

First of all welcome to Thailand. I just saw your post.

To be honest my knowledge of steak is limited to that few restaurants I always post. But I heard (not been to)  Santa Fe’s steak is rather good and it’s available at most malls.

Its just Thai version of prata/crepes! WIth egg is 25tbh only  but can add many various toppings eg banana, chocs, ......   Maybe @socrates469bc knows.

But this low ses treats.  I afraid i sia suay him!

This can be found around beach resorts and town.

I always look for this and street fried chicken!   Aroi mak mak!! :good:

@chamfer zz

it is the same roti as in bolehsia/pappyland sexcept that siam roti is sweet rather than savory.

those street push-carts in bkk usually only offer 2 variants, sweetened or sweetened with egg.

cost at most 15thb for those sweetened with egg.

bird didi jin high class, eat 25thb one.

What you looking at?  What was the 2010 price level?

I see many empty condos and more huge condos coming up!  Some were built 1/2 way and stop due to C19. Now slowly restarting!

Weekends are now 90% full but weekdays are low occupancy!

official bank data says only 50% appreciation but the true picture is at least doubled or tripled, depending on area.

bird didi take current price divide by 2 or 3, depending on which bkk area and can roughly get 2008-2010 prices liao.

central bkk prices roughly tripled in the past 10-15 yrs due to influx of tiong rmb.

@Yamato kor kor has a better feel on the ground, so best consult him.

Rental prices have been going up quite a bit since last month and will keep going up with more tourist coming in!

Am staying along Sukhunvit road and have been hiking to most places.  Daily ave 15Km.

Saw a lot of beautiful condos and many put SG condos to shame!

There also many incomplete bldg due to the last FC!

Make sure to visit the area around Nihonmura Mall, you'll be shocked how nice the area is. The Japanese food there is so good and the prices so good, the Japanese I worked with back then flock to eat there. They joked to us that Japanese only eat sushi in Thailand because it's so expensive back home.

I am not a fan of Sushi.  I am a Ramen boy!   :tasty:

When in Thailand, eat what the Thai eat!

Ok. I have been eating 95% Thai food and 5% Japanese ie. Mensho Tokyo Ramen & Katsushin.
