Air fryer is convection oven, just smaller and air movement higher relative to size and amount of food. You can use convection to air fry but have to stir the food more frequently and take longer to cook.

If whatever you want to bake in convection oven fits in air fryer, you can get similar effect but need to control the temp and heating time by intervals.

Basically it's controlling how much heat for how long.

Get a 40L convection oven first. Yeah, steam oven makes some food nicer - but in a pinch, you can add a tray with water in your convection oven, or cover up the top of your baking pan with foil or lid to trap in some of the moisture for steaming - then remove foil towards the end to dry/brown the surface on high heat

But should also have a large air fryer - it cooks some stuff faster. But if you're batch cooking larger amounts, then th 40L oven is easier to handle.

my current is is oven no fan type maybe 15 or 20litres.  new one most liekly conven toshiba or pana

Get the 40-50L range one. Got flexibility to use it as a rotisserie for cheekon. Only thing is larger the oven, more power consumption compared to your 20L one :(

Pork knuckle we just let cook in the instant pot for 2hrs, then take out pat dry + rub salt / soy sauce then put it in oven for crisping :(

ya more power but as compare to i buy outside, it still cheaper

say the roasted chicken is $7 at supermaket, i ownself buy $3.80 (if big enough i can even add 2 or 3 if i squeeze it and bottom tray can add meat also) + say power consumption cost is $1.50 = still cheaper then supermarket
