The_King Posted September 1, 2020 Share Posted September 1, 2020 A 62-year-old man was found dead in a taxi at Block 548A Segar Road on Monday morning (Aug 31). A photo was posted in the Taxiuncle Facebook group of police officers at the scene. The man is believed to be a taxi driver. In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at 6.57am. "A 62-year-old man was found motionless at the said location and was pronounced dead at scene by a paramedic," a police spokesman said. Police investigations are ongoing. During my time got many taxi and phv drivers past away while sleeping in their car. I still remember one guy early 30s, left behind a newly wed wife and a infant. Why should sinkies be driving and delivering food to FTs? These sinkies are not lazy. Often working daily, or on average 50 to 60hrs per week to earn a paltry sum compared to the "minimum wage" E pass and S pass holders earn right now. If anyone think otherwise, you should try signing a 3mths car rent contract, with only a starting sum of $500 for fuel and food.
