Won't touch any A31 mediatek chipset with a 10 foot pole. Furthermore think Samsung is less likely to update mediatek than Chinese makers. A51 Exynos, maybe can consider, luck of the draw whether it gets maintained. Had an Exynos tablet from Samsung and lucky they did upgrade to Android 10 with solid performance.
