But because the cameras - bike cameras, helicopter cameras and marshals are usually at the front of the bunch - the ones who are struggling at the back get a chance to tag along to vehicles and get pulled along to make the time cut. I can see how this would happen on shorter more explosive stages like the one where this happened .. tink 31 DQ'ed.
