Homelander Posted February 2, 2023 Share Posted February 2, 2023 SINGAPORE — Singaporeans can now use their Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers at two more supermarkets chains: Giant Singapore and Ang Mo Supermarket. South West District Mayor Low Yen Ling made the announcement on her Facebook page on Wednesday (1 February), adding that these two supermarket chains join five others who are accepting CDC vouchers this year: NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong, Prime, Hao Mart and U Stars. "Together, these seven supermarket chains offer Singaporean households over 360 outlets islandwide to spend their CDC vouchers. This is in addition to the over 20,600 participating heartland hawkers and merchants on the scheme," she said in her Facebook post. According to the CDC website, a total of 55 Giant outlets and 12 Ang Mo Supermarket outlets will now accept the use of the vouchers. The vouchers, however, cannot be used at the self-checkout counters at Giant supermarkets.
