Nearly 5 in 10 or 49% of Singaporean workers were forced to remove career in their priorities because of burnout issues, prompting employers to reevaluate mental health support to raise employee well-being.

Employee Hero's latest Employee Wellness Report polled 1,005 Singaporean employees, 62% of which said that they are suffering from burn out. Likewise, 57% said they have an average or poor work-life balance.

Their research also indicated that 68% of Singaporean workers are stressed about their finances, and 65% said that their stress levels were severely impacted by the effects of COVID-19 on the workplace.

Despite these results, the study found that Singaporean employers managed to impose changes in mental health support, with 47% of employees saying that their firm is very supportive of their mental health.

You pay someone enough, the person can be anything

If they don't pay you enough, of course you won't prioritize your career lah
