Yamato
The Thai style bak chang is quite different from Singapore's, very little meat and lots of nuts so I don't like. Always buy in Singapore and bring back put in freezer for later meals. Normally I buy from a stall in Hong Lim known as Hiong Kee this is very traditional Hokkien style bak chang. This round saw in net a Hoo Kee shop at Bukit Merah Central block 161 thought I'd try it. Was told prices just went up 50 cents today

Yamato
One thing about Thai food is it always look nice, pleasing to the eyes, colours appealing. Even from a very simple shop the food looks good. Raw vegetables Banana chicken curry - first time have this thought its strange cooking banana in curry, taste pretty nice, this dish use unripe banana cook with skin of banana Kwah-king is a southern Thai dish thats very spicy but full of Thai herbs, this case use minced pork Kale stir fry with pork Riceberry with stew pork and egg
