One day I was really bored with the usual restaurants I go so I asked my maid for recommendation. She said there's a beautiful restaurant near home (about 4-5km away. So was right, it was beautiful. I'd like to share some photos of the restaurant before I post the food.

One night I was driving home but it poured heavily as usual traffic was very bad when it rains let alone storm so I turn into a soi from the main road and afterdriving about 2km discovered this restaurant known as Krua Baan Suan (Home Garden Kitchen).

So on Monday this week I took a midnight flight to Sapporo with the missus for a short break.

 

Had a snack at the Singapore Airlines lounge before the flight, always amazed by this Thai snack

Because in Japan most of the time check-in hotel time is 3pm we left our bags at the hotel and travel to Otaru, a city about 35 minutes by train, as we have a booking for our first meal in Japan.

One noon we walked to the Diamaru at Sapporo JR Station for a very nice unagi rice meal
