Put it this way, i feel it's a New Chapter of your life!  Like Freedom (see above pic)!!

U can run around naked and can poop and dont flush, no one will scold u!

Its worth the count down!

Reno cost is up to you own choice.  You want to spend $100 or $10000, its your decision.

It will be an on going project one!

Its your OWN HOME, so enjoy the process loh!

Maybe other lao jiaos can advice better!

What i know is the old equipment like from my parents era will last longer then most current stuffs!

One must take care of it well.  Do note that the modern equipment have  electronics eg capacitors, all have life span.   To replace these branded electronics in kitchen or Hifi equipment, is gonna be expensive!  I am not an expert but i have many expensive hifi and its very hard to maintain.

As the saying goes, the old stuffs are build to last and the current is build to self-destruct!

limpeh do some basic maintenance like oil change and filter myself.

then those like change brake pads and air filter, limpeh bring it into the workshop once a yr.

nb, servicing vintage not cheap especially if need to change parts like timing belt or brake pads since have to import from oz or uk.

pappyland is not vintage car friendly.
