Mediums have to undergo trials and training. Usually those chosen to be mediums tends to have bad karma (sickness,short life span or had to be given away to others due to bad bazi) And find the correct deity for the problem. Each deity has their own strong point and they are not know all in all areas Eg,u can't find 大二伯 for seeking romance problem,. Some are like deities or like popular chinese folk law .......... if i can call it "personalities"?
