People need to realized that as we age, the body cant perform like when we were younger or like last yr. If stop exercising and put on weight and expect the body to pick up like before. Its going to be tough! As we grow older the body looses muscle mass but the fat stay. or increases The older we get, muscle mass will degradate more rapidly if we dont exercise to compensate. With the added pounds and lost of muscle mass, injury happens! Give you an example. When i had C19 and had slow recovery a few mths ago, i laid off running for 1.5 mth. I had to rebuild my running. I lost 50% of what i had achieved before C19!
