The bond between humans and animals can sometimes be a wonderful thing. As we may all be aware, animals are also capable of feeling belonging as well as loss.

Recently, a short clip from Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, showed a monkey at a funeral of a man who cared for it and used to offer it food.
