The_King
SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday (25 April) confirmed the detection of 40 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore, taking the country's total case count to 61,006. All the new cases are imported and have been placed on Stay-Home Notice since their arrival in Singapore, said MOH. Among this group there are 12 Singaporeans or permanent residents and six foreign domestic workers. There are no new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection, the ministry added. In its nightly update on Saturday, MOH said the five community infections detected earlier that day included a 45-year-old male permanent resident who had received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination on 19 March. The remaining four cases were part of a crew working aboard the bunker tanker MT ALLI. They had not disembarked from the vessel except for COVID-19 testing or vaccination.
