Malaysia defends easing of coronavirus curbs as new infections jump
socrates469bc replied to The_King's topic in Chit-Chat
and the best part is jib kor gonna drag out the judiciary process into an indon sinetron. just these 7 charges alone can take up to 7 yrs from start to finish and with more charges to be filed since ah din or any succeeding pm needs to placate the bolehsian public, expect jib kor to repeat this legal tactic. the judiciary system will take at least 20 yrs to clear all 1mdb-related charges. high chance jib kor may pass away from sudden heart attack without spending a single day in jail even b4 the judiciary process is done with him -

Malaysia defends easing of coronavirus curbs as new infections jump

yeah, the society was adopting a out of sight, out of mind mentality. so even if u wrote an email to mom, most likely u will get the standard reference number and a standard reply that they will look into the matter with a result in 6mths. by end of 6mth, most will most likely forget or even if u chased for an answer, they will give u standard reply that they r still looking into the matter. thats why i m glad that there r volunteer organisations like twc2 which tried to be our social conscious. -

u must not forget that these dorms r operate-for-profit. so of cos to maximize the profit, pack as many as possible. and now, this brings in another question. mom is supposed to be regulating and monitoring these dorm operators, but why is the ministry sleeping on the job for the past 5yrs? parliament shld have a grilling on this issue. this scmp article gave a pretty good overall overall story of these dorms operators and the supposed govt monitoring mechanism/regulations. https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/health-environment/article/3082453/coronavirus-after-little-india-riot-singapore-promised -

i m wondering why no one is questioning on her salt bae buy. if it happened in the norwegian swf, parliament will be in uproar over the loss. -
cham liao!!!!!! warren buffett lost usd50bln!!!!!!!!

i think his fund had a realized loss of at least usd15bln from the sale of the airlines as he most likely suffered a 50% loss on those stakes. the other usd30bln or so shld be paper loss. his so-called value investing principles dont work in this time and age since there r hardly any more so-called value stocks and timing on stock buys/sells r more important. warren is smarter than ur average investor, he wrote long term 15-20 yr put european put options. and he made alot from the puts. he took a leaf out from the biz cycle theory. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/look-back-warren-buffetts-37-172546595.html as we can see, he only paid lip service to his value investing principles. -

bolehsia is having the same issue like pappyland. but what really makes my blood boils is that people on both sides of the causeway r scapegoating the migrant workers. when u need them for 3d work, u pay them pittance and when this outbreak is thru no fault of theirs, the 'self-riteous' start blaming them for starting the outbreak becos of their unsanitary living conditions. https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/politics/article/3081958/malaysia-battles-coronavirus-its-rohingya-refugees-face-torrent -

cash in 0 interest rate environment is useless. if warren is so sakti, he would have shorted wti and earn at least usd100/barrel like my idol. -
i wonder if those pappys mean what they said.

so it means he is not as good as his kumgong supporters claim he is?????? he had a good 60yrs run, so time for him to lose some money. wahahahhahahah https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/warren-buffett-s-berkshire-hathaway-reports-nearly-50-billion-loss-n1198641

Over 2,000 retrenched in Penang since start of Covid-19 pandemic
socrates469bc replied to The_King's topic in Chit-Chat
best forward indicator to look at ura caveats. when u see a prime district 9 condo selling for a 30% loss after 13yrs, u know something is really really wrong in the market. now is buyer's market for at least next 2 yrs. wahahahhahah https://www.edgeprop.sg/property-news/seller-cityvista-residences-unit-incurs-199-mil-loss -
Many staff jobless after Melaka hotels close down
socrates469bc replied to The_King's topic in Chit-Chat
thats why i m not a fan of the tourism and retail sectors. in an economy cycle, these sectors r the first to contract but last to recover. i m now laughing at those jokers telling me to buy genting singapore. the brokers must really think i m kumgong. https://www.dbs.com.sg/treasures/aics/templatedata/article/equity/data/en/DBSV/012014/GENS_SP.xml -

wait for those lelong properties. sure will have bargain but make sure to get the bank to let u have viewing first to prevent untoward incident. my favorite is this kgk who bot an upmarket kl apartment without viewing only to find that the previous owner was chopped up in the fridge. https://www.asiaone.com/News/AsiaOne%2BNews/Crime/Story/A1Story20110805-292868.html -

i give uber another 2 yrs b4 it collapse. high chance softbank might collapse if he writes down the bad investments since holdings of alibaba/arm/softbank corp. has to be sold in order to balance the net debt position. his only chance to survive with minimal damage is via the ipo route which he tried to do with wework. he was lucky to ipoed uber at usd45/share.
