socrates469bc Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 Kondratieff gong that a lt economic cycle is 50-60yrs, so we take a 50yr time period. starting point in 1995: the yr when the internet is commercialized. start of economic summer in 2007: cheap money starts flooding the monetary system in the aftermaths of the mortgage crisis along with the needs of developing china start of economic autumn in 2019: chinese economy showing signs of slowdown as years of overinvestments starting to strain the economy. start of 2020: wuhan virus wrecked havoc to global economic activities and exposed the excesses of the binge yrs. so by using this timeline, we r at the very beginning of a 10 year economic stagnation whereby no amount of fiscal or monetary stimulus will be able to pull the global economy out of doldrums due to the excess liquidity created during 2007-2016. and it will only get worse from here until at least 2040 when i shld be dead, hopefully. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
