Why are we promoting such an elitist mindset that one's academic achievement can offset the crime committed? Being highly educated does not mean you'll be less likely to reoffend. In fact, i will argue the opposite. Being highly educated means he has no excuse. He is smart enough to know what is against the law and still he chose to commit the crime.
