Before that went to jiak some traditional Norwegian Waffles Unfortunately its either not fresh or supposed to be served cold, so its soggy. i prefer hot and crispy one. Finally done with cold food, drive to Oslo and check in my hotel near Aker Brygge: Drop bags fast hand fast leg walk out. Plus you need a cap/hat to keep wind chill out of your ears. You probably already have 3 layers sorted - so that is good. If going to the North and plan to spend a long time outside, then buy shell pants, otherwise regular stuff is fine. TBH, if you are going to be indoors most of the time or will be the south like Stavanger, heattech inners with jeans and shirt with jacket/woollens will be fine. Coastal areas are pretty okay in Nov/December. Think in Jan only it gets colder once you go further away from the coast.
