The_King Posted December 2, 2022 Share Posted December 2, 2022 A beauty pageant contestant was electrocuted on stage after grabbing a faulty microphone. Andrea Victor was filmed performing during the Miss Sahuayo 2022 pageant in Michoacan, western Mexico on November 27. She was filmed taking the microphone but reeling backwards in shock while trying to release it from her hand. Andrea eventually managed to yank it from her hand before she collapsed on stage. During the horrifying incident, the commentator can be heard saying: "She’s getting electrocuted, she's getting electrocuted.” The show took a brief pause but when the pageant restarted Andrea returned to the stage to finish her presentation - to rapturous applause from the audience. She later joked on social media: “I came back recharged – literally.” Upon her return, the commentator said: “Andrea has just returned, that's dedication, that's willpower, well Andrea, you're a winner, you're a warrior like the people of Sahuayo!"
