HPB responds over 341,000 excess fitness trackers

保健促进局说，当局高估了全国健步大挑战的参与率，预先采购大量计步器，导致出现超过34万个多余的计步器。

保健促进局针对审计署发表的最新审计长报告做出回应时说，参加大挑战的人数从第一季的15万6000个，激增到第五季的90万个。当局观察到公众在领取计步器时需要大排长龙或等候很长的时间，因此高估了公众参加大挑战的兴趣，采购了多余的计步器。

当局说，在34万1208个多余计步器中，12万个仍操作正常。其中，公众因为计步器故障，更换了将近4万8000个。剩余的计步器将继续供公众更换，以及提供给社区伙伴、企业和政府机构。

保健促进局也说，未来，当局会在预估参与率时更为保守，并会在参与者超额预订时，才会采购额外的计步器。检查存货的工作也会增加到每年两次。

另外，当局也已经展开屏蔽未经授权户头的工作，比如那些用死者的身份证注册的户头。当局目前正在确认为这些户头多付的款项，并会采取行动追回所报销的款项。

It's not huawei or xiaomi type.

 

Most likely actxa fit 2,xstep glide hr or even those older trackers that does not track heartbeat.

I still have my xstep glide hr tracker but the strap already spolit. 

 

So can only carry the tracker in my pocket.

 

Don't think i can exchange for a replacement.

which brings up a very important question and that is how hpb give contract????

 

nb, hpb really think no one works in logistic or production planning or purchase scheduling b4.

 

sakti Towkays like me is always order on consignment with options, meaning i order 50k first with option of another 50k delivered in 2 weeks.

 

i never hear of any 1-shot bulk purchase, maybe SIA has.

 

really burning taxpayers' money like kim chua.
