    • Its about time to do some Isaan since past 3 weeks had been overseas and when back bringing visitors to have other food here in Bangkok.   An Isaan restaurant opened near home about half year ago and it had become my favourite Isaan restaurant in Bangkok serving authentic Isaan cuisine. Simple restaurant in a metal roof shed but well lid and decorated and clean. Opens at 11am to serve the lunch customers but too bad closes at 9pm - https://maps.app.goo.gl/CKV3nfkbYnmvL7eh9             Sticky rice   Jeem Jiao - a must have Isaan sauce with roasted grounded sticky rice in the sauce   Isaan grilled chicken - gai yang   Isaan meatballs with Thai herbs - larb moo thod   Spicy and soury Isaan soup with pork ribs - tom saeb moo on   Somtam with rice noodle - tam-sua   Normal papaya salad (more for foreirners as it does not contain fermented fish sauce, pla ra) - Tam Thai   Seabass with Thai herbs   The following 4 dishes are common Thai dishes so cannot be considered Isaan Cabbage stir fried with fish sauce - ka-lam-pi nam-pla   Stir fry morning glory - pak-bong-fai-daeng   Seafood curry custard - hor-mok-talay   Normal deep fried chicken wings - pik-gai-thod
