He pleaded guilty to 5 charges — including possessing an offensive weapon, attempting to voluntarily cause hurt with a weapon, causing hurt by rash act, and using insulting words to a public servant. 10 other charges were taken into consideration during sentencing.       📅 Incident 1: Sword challenge to colleagues (May 22, 2025)   - Setting: Dinner/drinks with two colleagues at a coffee shop at Block 530 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10. Ang had drunk about 10 beers. - Trigger: His colleagues jokingly called him a "freeloader", which made him furious. - Action: He went back to his flat, fetched two long swords, then told colleagues to meet him below his block. When they arrived by car around 9:45 pm, he walked over, threw the swords on the ground and told them to each take one — claiming he would fight them bare‑handed. - Escalation: Colleagues stayed in their vehicles and drove away. Ang used the swords to hit their vehicles and chased them a short distance. Public witnesses called the police. - Weapons found: Officers discovered he kept 5 swords and 1 katana stored in his Ang Mo Kio flat.       📅 Incident 2: Coffee shop brawl (May 24, 2025)   - Location: Coffee shop at Block 407 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10. - Rampage: He flipped tables, flung plastic chairs at people. A passing man and a shop assistant who tried to intervene were struck by a chair. He also punched the assistant and the passing man’s father in the face. A third man checking on the dispute was scolded in Hokkien and had a chair thrown at him too. - Misconduct in custody: While detained at Woodlands Police Division, he insulted two police officers in Malay and Hokkien.       📅 Incident 3: Threatening neighbour’s son (Nov 1, 2025, ~10 am)   - Trigger: He could not sleep due to noise from the neighbouring unit. - Action: He attempted to attack the neighbour’s son with a metal pole.
