Premiere: New Black Metal Band WICKED ONE Release Menacing Single "Kneel Before Lucifer" Wicked One premieres their debut single "Kneel Before Lucifer" with Metal Injection.   Hailing from the depths of the US's underground death metal scene is a brand-new band called Wicked One.   Today, on the 6th day of the 6th month of the year, in 2026, otherwise marking 666, if you will. Wicked One has released a premiere of their debut single titled "Kneel Before Lucifer." Embracing all things satanic, this release unearths an ominous chorus line with obliterating blast beats, gutpunching gutturals, and feral screams. Made up of members Scott Eames (frontman and guitarist), Max Lavelle (bassist), and drummer Darren Cesca, the group has one mission. To bring forth the best of new extreme metal to those willing to listen. And they certainly do so in their brand-new single. ""Kneel Before Lucifer," was chosen as the first single because it captures the core DNA of Wicked One," says Eames.   "The atmosphere, the aggression, and the themes that define the entity. It simply drips with hatred. It serves as the first chapter and the gateway into this world. More importantly, 'Kneel Before Lucifer' represents the first invocation of the character's presence and sets the tone for everything that follows. I wanted the visual presentation to match the dynamics and intensity of the music, which made Aimed & Framed the obvious choice. Their work with Kerry King, Deicide, Suffocation, Exodus, and many others speaks for itself, and they fully realized the vision behind this video."     The release comes with a gothic visualizer, produced by Aimed & Fames (Exodus, Suffocation, Deicide). Ahead of its arrival, the band shared a snippet of the video on Facebook. Since then, the teaser has accumulated over 44k views. While Wicked One is a new group emerging from the underground of the death metal scene. Each member is well-versed in this genre. In the past, Eames has collaborated with bands such as Nile, Vital Remains, Thy Antichrist and Nevalra. Lavelle has previously worked with The Black Dahlia Murder and Despised Icon. And last, and certainly not least, Cesca has been in groups such as Deeds of Flesh, Arsis and Vile. Speaking about their new band venture, Eames adds:   Wicked One has existed in my creative world for years. What began as a persona slowly took on a life of its own, appearing in different artwork, concepts, and projects. Over time, it became clear that Wicked One was never meant to remain just a character – it demanded its own world, its own voice, and ultimately its own music."   Doubling down on the satanic vibe is Wicked One's band logo.
