No la, few years ago Carrick was Boro manager and tried 2-3 times to get them to Premiereship, but failed each time after coming close   Then Boro chose Rob Edwards - the last Luton manager who had taken them from Championship to Premiereship. And he quit after half a season cos he was ex Wolves player plus his home was nearby. Wolves were way down at the bottom but had burnt through managers like Bruno Lage, Lopetegui, Gary ONeil and Vitor Pereira.   Borough disappointed, but appointed Hellberg - then finally got to the playoffs - even though they were mostly the top 2 teams behind Lampard's Coverntry. Then the whole Southampton drama happened cos of spying by junior member and tio suspended. So even after losing to Soton .. Middlesborugh will play Hull City who won the other side of the draw for 3rd place promotion.   Don't think the Soton manager and staff will have a job once the season is over  And Boro also deserve to stay in Championship can try next time. Though next season, Norwich will be strong - they finished quite strong after they appointed ex-Rangers coach Philippe Clement.
