Keys can also be picked. I saw videos that even expensive ones with so-called complicated key structures also can be picked. Worse, they can yanked your whole gate out and then pick the el cheapo lock usually found on the main door.
yes can be pick but not everyone have the skill to pick but for digital, you only need the software to pick, some model you can even pick remotely
my fav lock get picked liao
I chose Yale for my home.
My logic is that Yale is a household name in locks. So, they will not take it lightly to release a bad product unlike those China and Korean stuff.
Although I believe it could be hacked by a real burglar but it would be a challenge for a wannabe.
I coupled my Yale with Aqara doorbell with camera function. I turn on proximity sensor so if someone come to door it will trigger notification to my phone. Previously I set it also to blast out dog barking but I find it irritating after awhile so I turned it off. Nevertheless it also record a few seconds of video and store in cloud.

Alternatively, use stainless steel kitchen top and cast iron bed like @The_King and challenge the thief to take it away.
P.S. I recall I left an extensible 8-seater teak table (great condition) and chairs outside my house, hoping someone will cart it away. After a few weeks, it became an eyesore so had to get Town Council to throw for me. Guess no HDB is big enough for that.
Cheers
anything digital can be hack easily by anyone with the software that can be brought from tor but to hack a decent lock like abloy/abus, you need skill, no tools can help
