oggie.... time for the final update.... 29 days liao.... suppose to unravel on boxing day but i dun hac cheesecloth... went on a hunt to find it.... so anyway.... the final installement of it....

how it looks like before i start stirring..... again.. i dip my finger in cos i cant resist......

i use a sieve and a cheesecloth for straining..... just like make tofu.... just squeeze the liquid hell outta the cloth.....

ya ya.... i know.... white poop..... anyway... mine cos i ferment longer... the rice literally became pulp..... there is no more rice grains in the mixture....

now some ppl will save this for cooking claypot chicken or other cina food... but cos i dun cook much and dunno will be keeping this how long... i just throw it away.....

white milky deliciousness..... well.... kinda.... now cos of all the stirring i did.... the sediments got mixed up with the liquid..... u can drink it as it is... it will hav a much thicker taste..... if dun like... just wait it out for the sediments to settle down can le.....

all bottled up with just a bit extra for me to enjoy..... just nice 1 litre.... but dunno can last how long..... 

extra note: overtime it may turn yellowish... which is normal.... itsa just 'aging' so to speak.... which will give another depth of flavor to it....

ya man.... but by 2 weeks can strain liao lah... also depends on the weather... if hot season less than 2 weeks can liao lor.... also depends how u wan the taste in depth.....

first.... wine yeast..... got bitter and sweet version... i bought the sweet ones... bout 2 is enough.... wack bang piak the hell outta it till powderish....

glutinous rice... wash and cook.... can steam also....

make lasagna time.... layer them out in a pot.... (note.... some ppl will add water to the powder to make into a watery paste then pour in)

cover and leave it somewhere dark cool and constant... like cupboard.....

now weather cold... so at least will take 20 days...  if hot season will take bout 1 week will hav result le..... 

note to urself.... NEVER EVER USE METAL POTS FOR THIS.... EITHER GLASS OR ENAMEL POTS.....

fermenting i got write at the bottom... depends on the weather... basically if rainy season cold weather 20 to 30 days..... if summer time 1 week.... u can aga the timing when u open to check..... 

the bicsuit go medical hall or those 海味店 buy.... they will ask u wan bitter or sweet de.. 

wat u mean by how long it last?

酒饼。海味店 is those sell dried seafood stuff... like fish maw shrimps.. the ones at bugis... but u go medical hall easier.....

storing i not sure... cos i usually finish it within one week... wahahahha.... just rmb store in glass bottles lor... there will only be a change in colour... the longer u store the darker the colour... the alcohol stays....
