Huat Zai
To bind flameshot to a shortcut key in Linux Mint, from the menu go to "Keyboard" > "Shortcut" > "Custom shortcut" > "Add custom shortcut", add "/usr/bin/flameshot gui" and bind it to a key of your choice.

For first time linux users, you can try running linux from a bootable USB Ubuntu is considered the most "user friendly" distro, it's based on Debian but has some mods to make your life easier Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu, but includes non-FOSS drivers (which Ubuntu refuses to include). It's my fav distro so far. Usually the user progression is Live USB > dual boot > pure linux with windows on VM > pure archlinux I'm stage 3 Edited August 21, 2021 by Huat Zai
