Wa knn .. wasted 1hr installing Debian on the laptop with a relatively large ISO .. installed so much nonsense by default that a bit pissed off. Weekend maybe do a netinstall and put only what I need 

Thankfully most of the hardware seems supported - install with ethernet - upgrade, then wifi works

No la .. last time got some Blogger or Geocities websites with "Crimes in Singapore" theme - there got scan of the perp. Don't think the victim's pic was on there. That time popular after some other crime and people shared link to that website - just vaguely remember this guy's face

Info on the case. Think most SP students don't know about this case. Happened at T15 and i was at T16.(mechanical & manufacturing engineering block was T16-T18) Still cannot forget the incident.
