A 52-year-old Chinese marathon runner was disqualified for chain-smoking during the race. The Chinese Athletics Association implemented a ban on smoking during marathons last year. "Uncle Chen" has puffed cigarettes during past marathons, saying it helps him relieve fatigue. A Chinese man has been disqualified from a marathon after he chain-smoked his way through the entire 26-mile race. The MailOnline reported that the man, known as "Uncle Chen," completed the Xiamen Marathon in three hours and 33 minutes but was disqualified for violating the race's rules against smoking on the course. In a statement posted on Weibo, the Xiamen Marathon confirmed that a participant violated an article of its rules and regulations, which prohibits "open defecation, smoking, or trampling on flower beds or green spaces." Canadian Running magazine was seemingly the first to report on the story. The Chinese Athletics Association implemented anti-smoking regulations last year to encourage healthier participation in the race, according to MailOnline. "Uncle Chen," now 52, gained internet fame two years ago after photos and videos showed him running a race with a cigarette in his mouth. In 2022, he placed 574th out of more than 1,500 runners in the Xin'anjiang Marathon. He finished that race in three hours and 28 minutes, five minutes faster than his most recent attempt. Sky News reported Chen had previously run other marathons while puffing on a cigarette. The report said he smoked throughout the 2018 Guangzhou Marathon and 2019 Xiamen Marathon. The Chinese news site Sohu reported that Chen had previously said cigarettes helped him with fatigue, holding one in his mouth while he ran so he could easily inhale and keep going. A man has been arrested for cutting off his wife’s head with a sword and stabbing her to death because she took too long to make his cup of tea. The suspect, named only as Dharamveer, allegedly killed his wife Sundari, 50, with a sword in their home in the village of Faljagadh, India. Sundari woke up around 6am and began preparing her husband’s tea, but it wasn’t ready when he asked for it. After Dharamveer asked for the cuppa a second time, the vegetable seller allegedly stabbed his wife 15 times with the sword before beheading her. The couple’s four children were at home sleeping at the time, but their son Soldier heard his mum’s screams and rushed to the scene, where Dharamveer allegedly attacked him too. After hearing screaming, locals also rushed over to their home and found Sundari lying dead in a pool of blood. The cops were called and Sundari’s body was taken away for an autopsy, with Dharamveer arrested at the scene. Assistant Commissioner of Police Gyan Prakash Rai said: ‘Dharamveer and Sundari had a fight over making tea. ‘He then took out a sharp weapon and attacked her on the neck from behind, which led to her immediate death.’ Soldier told local reports that his father had become angry over tea before and often shouted at his mother, but had never hit her. The investigation is ongoing. https://metro.co.uk/2023/12/20/husband-beheads-wife-a-sword-taking-long-make-a-brew-20003928/?ico=related-posts

Obviously Crystal Jade is trying to flip prata after being exposed. What is there to miscommunicate when the customer simply just want to pay by cash but was rejected. If they can accept cash as claimed, then what exactly is the meaning of only in "Cashless payment only". They should rename the sign to "Cashless payment preferred" if they really can accept cash
