If you haven't changed plan in donkey years, they will likely come and upgrade your ONT + router setup or ONR. Usually ISP de ONR or router is crappy device with capabilities restricted. But if you use your own router + switch behind the ONT - should usually be fine.    Internally don't need to change anything - usually most of your devices hardly capable of 10gbps on their own. Likely the phones and tablets at home have the latest wireless capabilities which can use the most throughput, and your laptop or comp will have 1gbps or 2.5gbps LAN capability only     If your current connected devices are working fine, 10gbps won't make things faster. 200-300mbps already good enough to power 4 x 4K TVs streaming stuff concurrently.
