No, a SIM card in an iPad Pro 11-inch 4th gen is for cellular data only, not for making traditional phone calls . However, you can use the cellular service with other methods, such as using third-party apps like Skype or FaceTime, or by linking your iPad to an iPhone using Apple's Continuity features to relay calls.    This is what i found out the last time,  OTP cant be receive on Ipad.   Sim is Only for data!!       Back to square one!

Huh!!    I was ranting when i bough my Ipad pro 11" 4th Gen >1 yr ago about this cellular issue.  I looked up apple support online then and it says i need an iphone to pair with.    Let me look into this again. Thanks for the tip🙏!  Hope it can works this time.

Thats what i thought before i bought the Ipad.  I migrated from Samsung Tablet to Ipad pro with cellular.    I realized when i got the Ipad pro there's no SIm tray/slot!    Now i just use it for emails and watch videos!    Major regret. 😫   if someone knows how to use cellular without an Iphone please teach me!   🙏
