SHAH ALAM: Police have confirmed that the victims of the shooting at a petrol station in the vicinity of Bukit Tinggi, Klang near here, last Friday, are individuals wanted by the police under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (SOSMA).
Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the 34-year-old man also had several other criminal records.
He said the investigation so far has focused on various aspects taking into account the victim's background and seven statements have been taken involving his wife and family as well as witnesses to the incident.

"The investigation is still ongoing... The autopsy has been completed and the cause of death was injuries from several gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen, and has been handed over to the family for burial," he said in a press conference at the Selangor Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK) here today.
He said the police investigation covered all angles including the possibility of the involvement of illegal groups in the incident.
Media reported that customers and employees of a petrol station in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, near here were shocked by the shooting incident last Friday.
Based on closed-circuit camera (CCTV) footage at the petrol station that went viral on social media, the incident happened at around 11.07pm.
The voiceless video shows an individual on a motorcycle believed to have opened fire on a customer who was using the service at the station.
