    • my idea kym?     to vote for PM this is the idea, 28 district = 28 senate aka MP 80 different Postal Codes = house of representatives aka represents the interests of those residents in own district aka mayor, PA, grassroots etc....... 70 General Location = 70 electoral college https://www.mingproperty.sg/singapore-district-code/ once PM is elected he can have his own administration. but the senate and house of representatives is voted in by the people

    • Please buy the regular one called "Original" now. Made of Tritan.     2-3 years ago, the original inventor, sold the Aeropress company to a VC firm. They been pumping out new variants with a change of logo, change of materials, etc. All BS.   Just get regular one, spend the $$ on good coffee. You already got Doug's Pharos (though I'd still say buy a tinier decent hand grinder)
    • In just three days, fires broke out four times in Punggol HDB blocks. Debris in corridors and garbage chutes were burned, and one person was arrested on suspicion of arson as a prank. Shin Min Daily News received reports from enthusiastic readers that four fires broke out in Block 121A of Edgedale Plains, Punggol in three days. When a reporter visited the building a few days ago, he found that the garbage chute on the 16th floor of the HDB flat was burnt black, and the water meter in the corridor on the same floor also showed signs of burning.   A male resident who did not want to be named said in an interview that a fire broke out in the corridor at about 2:30 in the morning on November 6. He was sleeping in the living room when he suddenly smelled a burning smell. He opened the door to check and was surprised to see that the debris placed by his neighbor in the corridor was on fire. "I quickly put out the fire with water hoses from my next-door neighbor, and another male resident on the 15th floor also came up to help." 延伸阅读   He said that the fire did not trigger the alarm, but fortunately it was discovered in time, otherwise the consequences would be disastrous.   He revealed that in fact, starting from November 3, in just three days, a total of four fires broke out on the 15th and 16th floors, including corridors and garbage chutes. "Fires broke out one after another in a short period of time, and residents suspected that someone had set the fire." A resident told reporters that at about 2:30 pm on November 5, he did smell a strong burning smell. "When I went out afterwards, I discovered that the garbage chute was on fire. The walls and ceiling were pitch black. I guessed it was arson." When questioned, the Singapore Civil Defense Force confirmed that it received a report at about 2:40 a.m. on the 6th that a fire broke out at the above location. The fire involved items in the corridor on the 16th floor. Members of the public used fire hoses to put out the fire. The Civil Defense Force checked one person's injuries, but he refused to be sent to the hospital. The case remains under investigation. Man arrested for arson Police have arrested a man on suspicion of arson. Some residents pointed out that on the night of November 7, they witnessed the police bringing the suspect back to the scene. The man, with his hands cuffed, pointed to the location of the fire in the corridor and talked to the police. "Later, a policeman came to me and told me that the matter was over and that we should not worry." For the complete report, please read the Shin Min Daily News on November 10, 2024.
