Indoor playground Kiztopia to open at Marina Square with giant slides, obstacle courses, and cooking corners

Kids have all the fun these days. The latest indoor playground to arrive on our shores, Kiztopia is set to open its sprawling 18,000 sq ft of space at Marina Square on June 15. Touted as an interactive play space for children 12 and below, the massive park marks the company’s first outpost in Southeast Asia outside China. And if you think entertainment value isn’t attractive enough, this brand offers an “edutainment” experience so little ones can learn and play at the same time. Best of both worlds, we suppose.

Across 18 play zones populated by a crew of 11 animated animal characters, Kiztopia is designed to help young ones develop their social, emotional, and motor skills. Highlights include an AR basketball court, a cooking corner with stoves and bread makers, bouncy castles, AR art screens that can be drawn on, giant slides that lead into ball pits, a performance stage, a Ninja Warrior obstacle course, trampolines, and a supermarket where “shoppers” can fill carts with groceries or get behind the counter as cashiers.

Other facilities on its premises include an indoor driving school, role play rooms, and augmented reality (AR) studios. For more learning opportunities, Kiztopia will run classes for rhythmic gymnastics, music and movement, speech and drama, visual arts, and robotics starting in August.

Oh, and there’ll also be a themed cafe on the grounds called Bell’s Pantry. The menu’s supposedly a “healthy” and “nutritional” one, with items such as smoked salmon eggs benny and stacked pancakes.

Tickets range from $28 to $48, depending on play duration, and annual passes ($588) will be available as well.

Kind of expensive looking at the rate per hour.... think kidzania might be a better choice.
