decent 4/5 star hotels like shangri-la will still provide a decent ah moh style breakfast buffet.

i recommend staying in shangri-la or pullman when in tiongland.

shangri-la and pullman both serve decent ah moh style breakfast but shangri-la is a cut above becos their waitresses/hostesses/receptionists really got standard.

some tiong cities such as suzhou/hangzhou/qingdao/harbin/dalian has quite nice atbs but of cos, not as varied as shanghai.

i especially like scenic suzhou and make it a point to spend my weekends there whenever i m in shanghai for biz. dalian/harbin is quite nice as well.
