The open driver’s-side door hit the attendant — he fell, struck his head, was taken unconscious to hospital, and died from injuries the next day (Friday).   Instead of helping the injured man, the driver abandoned his car and fled with a 22-year-old female passenger.   Arrest & Investigation Traffic Police identified them via ground checks, police cameras & CCTV — both arrested the same day of the crash.
