Changing Her Age During the re-registration process in Luzhou, she officially modified her birth date in the system, shifting her birth year from 1964 to 1976 (making herself 12 years younger), claiming it was to help her find work more easily [17:04].   3. Acquiring a New ID Number (NRIC Equivalent) and Resolving Duplicate Records   Adopting a New ID Number: Rather than retaining her previous identity card number from Shanghai, she obtained a new ID number upon re-registration [23:31].   Overcoming ID Number Collision: Her newly registered ID number turned out to overlap with an existing resident's ID number.
