The incident was captured in a video that later circulated on the "sgfollowsall" Telegram channel. It showed the man, dressed in a khaki-coloured cap and black T-shirt, sitting on a toilet bowl while allegedly vaping. Witnesses noted that he appeared to be shaking visibly throughout the encounter. When individuals present in the area checked on him, he was largely unresponsive, though he eventually mumbled that he was "okay" and gave a thumbs-up. A member of the public contacted emergency services, and paramedics assisted him out of the facility. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed receiving a call for assistance at approximately 1:35 PM that day and subsequently transported the individual to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.   A SAFRA Jurong spokesperson stated that they are aware of the incident and reminded the public that those caught vaping on their premises will be reported to the relevant authorities.
