Singapore nightclub DJ Sakura Soh will be embarking on a new career path – entering Japan's adult film industry after going from a nightclub DJ to an OnlyFans creator.
Soh was previously active as a nightclub DJ in various parts of Asia, Vibes 8world reported, adding that she gained quite a number of fans because she had a youthful image and unique appearance.
However, her career in the nightlife industry was significantly impacted by the pandemic, which made her venture into OnlyFans while planning for her future.
New career path
In the face of this new challenge, Soh said that she has watched Japanese adult films since she was young and considers this an item on her "bucket list".
As such, she did not hesitate to accept the offer from the film company in Japan.
In preparation for her debut, Soh has travelled to Japan several times to undergo training in terms of filming techniques and acting.
She also wishes to present a more mature image that is different from her previous innocent image.
"I hope viewers will be able to feel the hard work and authenticity I present in front of the camera," she said.
"This to me is a huge breakthrough and I hope to show everyone a different side of myself."
Not quitting being a DJ
According to sources, 8world reported that this collaboration is set to be part of a long-term plan where Soh is expected to successively release works while expanding her career in Japan and Asia markets.
In response to whether this signals the end of her DJ career, Soh said that it is not the case.
"I plan to tour more countries in 2026, and this is just another new beginning in my life," she said.
