Among the unqualified products announced this time, there are many products that are unqualified for pesticide residues, including 248 kilograms of Japanese fresh honeydew melon, 18,000 kilograms of Vietnamese Chinese cabbage, 90 kilograms of Japanese fresh grapes, and 10 kilograms of Thai coriander, all of which were found to contain pesticides that cannot be detected by my country, and 450 kilograms of excessive pesticide residues in Thai frozen leprosy citrus leaves must be returned or destroyed.   In addition, 27,000 kilograms of Vietnamese black peppercorns were found to contain the carcinogen Sudan Pigment No. 4, which must be destroyed at the border and cannot be returned according to regulations. Zheng Weizhi said that according to the statistics of the Food and Drug Administration, 3/1~9/1 my country accepted 54 batches of black pepper from Vietnam, 6 batches were unqualified, with a failure rate of 11.1%, including the detection of Sudan pigments and pesticide residues that were unqualified, and the Food and Drug Administration has been from 4/18 to 9/13 next year. Among the unqualified products this time, there is also a batch of 2,420 pieces of Chinese food carton containers, which have been found to contain fluorescent brighteners that cannot be detected according to my country's "Hygiene Standards for Food Utensils and Containers and Packaging", and must also be returned or destroyed.
