A woman fell to her death at Block 441A, Clementi Avenue 3 this morning. The police immediately cordoned off the scene after arriving. Pictures sent by reader Mr. Xiao showed that the blocked area included the commercial pedestrian street near Block 441A, Clementi Avenue 3, and there were many people watching at the scene. The Civil Defence Force said that it received a report of a fall from a building at 10:50 this morning (27th), and the person who fell from the building was declared dead after paramedics arrived at the scene. In response to Channel 8’s inquiry, the police said that they received a report in the morning that someone needed help at Block 441A, Clementi Avenue 3. A 56-year-old woman was later found lying on the ground floor of the block. According to preliminary investigations, the police have ruled out homicide and the investigation is still ongoing.
