A man and woman from Singapore were found dead in a homestay in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The police found that the room where the crime occurred was sealed with tape and garbage bags, and there were traces of charcoal burning at the scene. Preliminary investigations believed that the two committed suicide. According to Sin Chew Daily, police investigations found that the body of the deceased had begun to rot and emit a foul odor when it was discovered, and he may have been dead for many days, but the specific circumstances have yet to be confirmed by the autopsy report.   Local police also found drugs suspected to be ketamine in the room where the incident occurred. The police also said that the 43-year-old male and 33-year-old female victims were both Singaporean citizens. They are currently investigating the relationship between the deceased, their entry time, and how long they had been living in the homestay. The police also said that the homestay in question did not have CCTV installed, so the case needs further investigation.
