The_King
Just weeks after unveiling its fourth outlet at Suntec City, American fine-casual burger chain Shake Shack announced today (Oct 21) that it's opening a fifth branch at VivoCity. Details, including its opening date, are scant at press time. But what we know is that the outlet takes over a first floor space in the mall formerly occupied by the Artisan Boulangerie Co. cafe, and overlooks the sea. There will be interesting artwork Shake Shack partners a local artist to come up with murals for each of its outlet, and for the VivoCity eatery, it has teamed up with Singaporean artist Eeshaun, whose brightly-coloured, lively works have also decorated the Changi Airport and MRT stations. Burgers by the water For its Suntec City outlet, Shake Shack introduced a limited-edition range of ShackMeister burger, fries and hotdog, all topped with beer-marinated fried shallots. It also offered a new Chick'n Shack chicken burger for its Neil Road outlet launch. So you can probably look forward to exclusive menu items when the VivoCity restaurant opens. Shake Shack’s fifth outlet is at #01-163/164 VivoCity, 1 Harbourfront Walk, S098585. www.shakeshack.com.sg.
