[Rant] Rescue Animals...?

Late last night I saw a pigeon at the foot of my block.

Was able to approach it till I was right next to it.

Saw its head was bald, and a red rash/spot at its shoulder. Ants were crawling over its feet and slight smell coming from buttom.

So I texted ACRES hoping to come rescue.

I was told to find a box to cover it. So i found a box in the rubbish dump (yes I bloody digged into a bin) and use plastic bags at home to move and let it sit into the box. They said they will come collect.

Morning 7am the box still there. I thought maybe they busy. A bit worried as I know cleaner will remove the box.

Just texted me if bird is ok. Wtf...

Said they had no chance to collect it yet. Oh well.. I died a little bit inside.
