Huat Zai Posted December 16, 2022 Share Posted December 16, 2022 SELANGOR, MALAYSIA — Selangor State Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that the landslide at Batang Kali has claimed the life of 13 victims (Two boys, one girl, two adult males and eight women) as of 12 pm this afternoon(16 Dec). In a recently updated post on its official Facebook Page, the Selangor fire department shared that a total of 94 victims were involved in the incident, 61 victims were rescued at the scene, in which 53 of them escaped unharmed. Seven victims were sent to the hospital, and one remained at the scene. The search and rescue mission is still ongoing, as 20 victims are still missing. The fire department received an emergency call at 2.24 am today regarding a landslide at Father Organic Farm campsite at Batang Kali. The landslide happened on the roadside close to the Father Organic Farm and fell into a campsite that was close to the road.
