Food delivery rider nearly hit by carpark gantry arm in Yishun

While it's good to aim for speed and productivity, we should remain vigilant and not neglect road safety.

Stomper Heng spotted a cyclist who was nearly hit by a carpark gantry arm near Block 661 Yishun Avenue 4 on Thursday (Nov 3), at around 11am.

The cyclist, who was wearing a Foodpanda shirt and had a GrabFood storage bag on his bicycle, can be seen ducking his head to avoid the gantry arm.

Fortunately, he did not get hit.

Heng said he found the incident "very funny" but also noted, "Some just people just don't care about their own safety."
