Tak Province is the 4th largest province in Thailand But with a population of only half a million it’s 75th in terms of people density out of 76 provinces. Many mountains here and a famous district of Tak Province is Mae Sot popular with tourists as there’re many hill tribes there. Being a gateway into Myanmar this district is also infamous for trafficking In Thailand province has a capital city with the same name as the province but identified as Mueang which means city. Chiangmai province has a Mueang Chiangmai which most people are familiar with. Some cities like Chiangmai, Khon Kaen, Ubon etc are real cities but some capital “cities” are kore like a town like Mueang Tak. This is basically Mueang Tak

I have to disappoint you with my answer, first of all this is like my second time having this outside because I really don't like to eat this due to cleanliness and fear of disease meat. You see many stalls sell very cheap and meat is not that cheap to begin with. What ever you see there on the table take away the seafood salad, the chicken wings and the beer, the whole jim jum costs only 100 baht and you can even ask for more vegetables. So this make me suspect the meats came real cheap and there must be a reason. Why I had that last night was because I don't have much of a choice, it was over 8pm and I am still on the road and hungry. I prefer jim jum at home. Anyway if you really wanna have steam boat my advise is go for MK.

Jim Jum (Chim Chum) is a clay pot hot pot dish found all over Thailand. Customers will order fresh meats and vegetables mix with egg and cook it in a broth. I always wonder why Thais living is a very hot country like to eat hot pot in this heat however when I eat it I can understand its comfort food that can be eaten with close friends and have fun socialising. After work at 8pm went to a jim jum joint located at a roadside open air restaurant The spread Side orders, chicken wings and Seafood salad Jim jum

Been on the road since last Thursday, at first was to chase for March closing sales, March is over but I persisted to get orders for April. April is a short month for us here due to the long songkran water festival holiday, nevertheless monthly sales target is merciless, never care about holidays nor sickness nor thunderstorm. So since I'm already upcountry might as well get more orders to make up for the lull period. But I'm beginning to feel tired and worse of all, very lonely. Here's my lonely meal with my lonely wine, lonely soup and lonely pizza. Life is not so box of chocolate after all. This is as Italian as you can get my friends. N

I believe anyone who had visited Thailand will know krapow-moo-saab (Thai basils minced pork) rice is the favourite meal here in Thailand as its a simple dish with vegetable, meat and rice a full meal on a plate. Another favourite that can also be found almost everywhere is khao-ka-moo or braised pork knuckle rice. This morning a friend introduced me to a shop thats very popular at the vicinity around it. Was told this shop had been around for more than 50 years. Can hardly find this shop thats hidden behind the plants Shop Big pot of braised pork knuckles, smells really good Owner working on my breakfast Ordered a seaweed soup Here's the breakfast This is probably one of the best I've had in Thailand location - https://goo.gl/maps/NdHCMjJXeGN2
