beyond
So who knew that drinking bubble tea can be good to treat your cough? Well, specifically a Pei Pa Koa infused one. Labobatory, a Californian shop that sells bubble tea or as Americans call it, boba tea, has created a concoction, infusing Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa in their drinks. Yes, that cough syrup that your mother forced you to take whenever she hears even the slightest cough from you. We got to admit that the cough syrup has a pleasant minty taste but we would never have imagined it being a flavour for bubble tea. As stated in Labobatory’s Facebook page, the odd drink is part of their holiday menu which will be available throughout the holiday season with four other holiday-inspired flavours. Wait, cough syrup is a holiday season flavour? The page also explained that, “We strive to create unique concoctions that blend premium traditional ingredients and modern twist on ingredients new and old.” Time to reminisce some good old memories when your mother took care of you when you were sick. Just make your own version of it and you can even serve it to your guests during Christmas. Confirm sedap! 1 I think about you.
