The_King Posted February 22 Share Posted February 22 Did you know that the North South Line MRT tunnel runs underneath Block 206 Toa Payoh North? In 1984, 8 families and 1 coffeeshop had to be relocated during the tunnelling works from February 1984 to September 1984 while the rest of the residents remained. When the block underwent the Main Upgrading Programme in the late 1990s, the rest of the block had additional utility rooms installed behind except for portions of the block where the tunnel runs through. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
